Ashburton Rotary Club Classic Car Rally

This is the 22nd running of this hugely popular event. Entry fee is $20/car with all profits going to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. The event starts at the Ashburton Showgrounds at 10.15am and finishes in the Methven area approximately 4 hours later. 

You will be given instructions — like a car trial, and you can participate in the annual Street parade, if you wish, or simply carry on the designated route to finish in Methven. There are no shingle roads and the instructions are very straight forward. 

There are prizes for various vehicles that are chosen by our independent judges, Roger Hart and Bernard Egan, two well known identities in the Mid Canterbury area and have had many years experience of classic cars. They will also pick a concours d'Elegance winner.
