Combined Car Clubs Picnic at Orton Bradley Park

This is a Christmas brunch BBQ with combined car clubs at Orton Bradley Park.  We had a great turnout last year and hope to have another fabulous day this year.  This will be an opportunity to mix and mingle with other car club people and a wide variety of classic cars.

Where, What to Bring, Cost

As usual, we’ll be meeting at 10.30am in the Princess Margaret Hospital carpark at the west end so there should be lots of room for all the cars but feel free to just meet us at Orton Bradley Park (Charteris Bay) if you prefer.  Orton Bradley Park has an entry fee of $3/adult, $1/child, up to a maximum of $8/car. There is more information on their website. We have been allocated areas 3A and 3B. To make it faster for the people collecting money at the gate, could you please have your money ready when you arrive there.

There are some barbecues there but it is probably easiest if you bring everything you need to cook on and with, as well as your food and drink. Remember, this is a great opportunity to show off your barbecuing and picnicing skills, as well as your classic vehicle. Don’t forget your sunscreen, a hat and your camera!

Secret Santa

Once again the Secret Santa will be operating. Please bring a $2 gift (wrapped) for the number of people in your car and Santa Claus will disperse these at random amongst the participants.

Please Invite Other Clubs

We know that this event is on the Triumph Club calendar (as they're co-organising) but if you are a member of another club/s, please make sure that it is in their diary. This event is open to all classic vehicles, not just classic cars, so please extend the invitation widely — we’d love to have lots of classic vehicles there to celebrate another year of great classic motoring.
