"Let's Quit Christchurch for Show Weekend" Weekend

For those of you that want to get away from the madness of Christchurch Show Weekend and exercise your classic car's lungs. Plus the bonus of attending the Geraldine Arts & Plants Festival.

The Plan!

The programme is planned to provide something of interest to everyone.  There are many coffee, eating places, museums, and the Geraldine Spring Festival.

Fri 16th: feel free to have a leisurely drive down on Friday (or Thursday if you wish) and dine out to suit your tastes on Friday evening.  We haven't arranged anything in particular but if you wish to meet up with others, let us know and we'll try to put people together.

Sat 17th: for those wishing to go motoring meet at the Andorra Motel at 9am for a briefing before a run up country.  Maybe a visit to the observatory at Tekapo and perhaps lunch at Mt Cook.

Saturday evening we will dine together at the Totara Restaurant.

Sun 18th: Sunday will give you a chance to finish off the sights of Geraldine and then meet for lunch at 12.30pm at the new café, name to be advised.  This café / restaurant has plenty of room before we head back to Christchurch.
