Please note that the start details have been changed due to the earthquake damage in New Brighton (see note from organisers below).

This is the 9th year that this event has been run! Open to all cars, stationwagons, vans, utes, trucks and motorcycles. There are always a LOT of vehicles on this run, which adds to the fun.

From Trevor & Lorraine Stanley-Joblin:

After considerable deliberations, we have decided to proceed with the event as per the original plan. Stewart's Classics are the new sponsor. See the advertisement in Buy/Sell paper.

However owing to the difficulties being experienced in New Brighton, we have a new start venue: Alpine View Lifestyle Village, 448 Prestons Road, Burwood (about 200 yards east of the Vege Pot), from 9am. Registration closes at 10am. Entry fee $10/vehicle.

The registration point is in the show home (over the bridge on left side). There's only enough parking for 8-10 cars at any one time so you may have to park out on Prestons Road.

We will still be charging $10 but will also be asking for donations for the Red Cross Earthquake Appeal.

PS. Lunch can be purchased at a country shop/cafe/bar about 3km before our final destination
